Auckland Motorway News
The Victoria Viaduct opened at four lanes south on the 9th of January 2011 without any issues. As more and more traffic returns to the roads in the new year it is recommended that you get in the correct lane early.
The Newmarket Viaduct northbound was closed between 8pm on the 28th of January until 3pm the next day. NZTA thanks people who avoided the area to make sure no congestion was created. The new northbound Viaduct is now open and demolition on the old viaduct will begin.
