Since the website was founded in October 2004 we have grown substantially every month to the highest of 117,000 views in May 2010.
This website is an independent site and intended as public service. The site currently costs around $20 a month to run, excluding photography and travel expenses. That is why we do not request much for payment.

Our page views have grown substantially, especially since August 2009. Currently the website is growing at a rate of 39% for 2010.

Since the website launch in 2004 our top three months have been March, April and May 2010. Visitors over the last five months spent 10 minutes and 39 seconds on our site. In May 2010 60% of our viewers returned - and we gained another 40% of new viewers. On average most visitors will look at 9 pages before leaving. 48% of our visitors come direct to our address, 52% come via a search engine/links.

Demographics

From feedback and site use it shows that the site is used mainly by students seeking information for projects, drivers seeking information on closures, projects, openings and traffic status through cameras, international interest visitors and other general internet viewership. So age groups, locations (in Auckland) and interests vary largely.

As AucklandMotorways.co.nz has been established for four years now the site is listed well in major search engines such as Google, Live and Yahoo! NetGuide Magazine and the North Shore Times have mentioned the site and done an article respectively.
